Students do not have to complete every stage in order. The assessment helps us identify the most suitable starting point and learning track.

Quran Learning Path

The Quran track provides a clear framework while remaining flexible around the learner’s current ability and goals.

    Foundations

    Letters, sounds, joining, vowels and basic reading foundations.

  2. 02

    Quran Reading

    Build accurate, confident and increasingly fluent Quran reading.

  3. 03

    Applied Tajweed

    Improve pronunciation, makharij and practical application of Tajweed during recitation.

  4. 04

    Memorisation & Revision

    Memorise according to the learner’s ability while maintaining previous memorisation through structured revision.

  5. 05

    Advanced / Ijazah

    Advanced recitation, precision and preparation for learners working towards higher-level study or Ijazah where appropriate.

Noorani Qaida is one of the tools or curricula that may be used within the Foundations stage when it suits the learner’s needs. It is not a separate compulsory stage for every student.

Different Goals, Different Routes

The Tilawa Learning Path is not one fixed sequence for every learner.

Example A

A complete beginner may begin with Foundations before moving into Quran Reading.

Example B

A learner who already reads Quran may start directly with Tajweed.

Example C

A confident reader focused on Hifz may move into Memorisation & Revision with Tajweed support where needed.

Parallel Learning Tracks

Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies remain distinct learning tracks and can be combined according to the learner’s goals.

Quran

The Quran track follows the five-stage framework above, with the starting point determined by assessment.

Arabic

The Arabic track begins from the level identified through assessment, according to the learner’s goal: reading, conversation, writing or understanding Arabic.

Islamic Studies

Content is selected according to age, level and learning goal, and Islamic Studies can be studied alongside Quran or Arabic.
